Circumspect on Circumcision

It is our belief that circumcision is received by the body as trauma. A dismembering of the genitalia, the act and response from the male (or female) leave an imprint of trauma within the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual cells and bodies. This can be seen as a baby's indoctrination to physical pain/abuse, by way of his/her sexual organ. Furthermore, it is our belief that this imprint can possibly result in a desensitized genitalia, contributing to challenges with satisfyingly giving and receiving pleasure during love making with a partner and in masturbation, rage, unhealthy romantic love partnership, fear of self-actualization.

According to the philosophy of Sexual Reflexology, the skin that is removed during male circumcision is connected to energy meridians of the spleen, stomach and pancreas, and the adrenal, thymus, pineal and pituitary in female. This additional information further supports that this surgery is a whole body, holistic experience, affecting every known and unknown aspect of the individual.

Repairing the physical and metaphysical consequences of circumcision, at any age, can be done. We find that essential oils and flower essences work exceptionally well with physically enlivening the genitals and supporting the individual in his/her emotional release and healing.

Conscious Conception: 3 Things You Must Do Before Conceiving

1. Consciously examine your beliefs, emotions and thought processes to ascertain the truth as to why you want to become a parent. Upon reaching your answer, honestly decide if the reason is viable.

2. Assess your internal and external life and resources. Do they allow for a supportive, nurturing, healthy and loving environment conducive to raising a baby/child?

3. Research and choose ongoing safe, non-invasive health options to prepare (as best as possible) the body's four levels (physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual) to conceive, birth, navigate, and sustain the entire maternity/parenthood journey with *responsibility and optimum wellness.

*responsibility = ability to respond, not react
