6/29/10: Womb Health Online Course - Addressing Reproductive Challenges Prior to and During Pregnancy

Womb Health Course
Instructor: Nicole Tucker, Lic. L.C.C.

Maintaining a healthy womb is vital to mother's health, in general, and to provide a safe and balanced home for her growing baby. In order to accomplish this goal, all existing reproductive challenges, such as fibroids, endometriosis, and cysts, must be acknowledged and can be holistically addressed. On a physical level, these imbalances can cause severe pain, leading to a disruption in quality of living. Energetically, they are blockages within the woman's thought processes, belief systems, and emotional life that have landed and taken tangible form in her physical body.

This manifestation poses a potential health risk for her baby in-utero as he or she requires an unencumbered and unchallenged womb space to thrive in the best health. Though it is the baby's soul request to inhabit such a womb for its own personal life lessons, the mother can still consciously choose to heal the space and alter their realities.

In this course, we will explore the possible reasons why the reproductive challenges have been manifested, the health risks to both mother and baby, and the multi-tude of holistic options that can successfully assist the healing process.

Non-pregnant women with reproductive challenges are encouraged to take the class.

Reflexology: Safe, Gentle Approach to Assist Labor Induction and Balance Breastmilk Flow

It was found that by administering direct, gentle pressure in certain parts of the feet there was an effect in related areas in the body. The feet are a mirror ('reflexsion') of the body, hence Reflexology! By applying skilled and specific thumb, finger and hand techniques to these pressure points or reflexes, you have the opportunity to discover where pain and challenge may lie in the body and utilizing Reflexology to assist in addressing it.

Regarding labor induction, it is best to request after 40 weeks of gestation. At this time, the gentle method of Reflexology can be applied to assist in stimulating movement and encouraging labor. A trained and qualified Reflexologist, in partnership with mom and baby's intention, can apply this special technique to the area of the feet that correspond to the reproductive system.

The same safe and non-invasive approach can be used if breastmilk flow is a challenge, whether too little or too much. By administering Reflexology finger techniques to the pressure or reflex points that correspond to the mammary glands, a mother has the opportunity to unblock channels that may have interfered with the flow of her breastmilk, and, in the same vein, the technique can also slow down/balance the flow, if too abundant.

Assisting labor induction and balancing breastmilk flow with Reflexology can be accomplished in one or multiple sessions. Other factors may affect these concerns; they would also need to be addressed as part of the Reflexology protocol and/or with other wellness modalities, such as Aromatherapy, Herbal Care, Flower Essences and Energywork.
